What a fun Christmas we had this year! We stayed home and had SO MUCH FUN! We went to my parents house for Christmas Eve and had dinner, played BINGO and some other fun Christmas games, and listened while Paul read us the Christmas story and the kids helped by holding up stick puppets of the nativity.

We headed home and put out the cookies and milk for Santa and both boys fell right to sleep.... but Paul and I were up until 1:00 getting everything ready!!! The only thing we hoped for was that Parker would at least sleep in until 8:00am.... YAHOO! He came and woke us up at 8:01! Paul started a fire downstairs and we headed off to see what Santa left. Parker was SO excited to see the family room literally filled with presents! Jaxon woke up at about 8:30 and he sure enjoyed playing with his new toys, too!
Parker sure took his time opening and enjoying each present. He would open a present and then play with it for a few minutes before going to the next present. We finally finished opening presents at 10:30!!! Christmas is SO much fun with kids!

Paul totally spoiled me this year. He bought me a new black microwave for my kitchen, a serger- I just have to learn how to use it!- a massage at "The Essence of You", a 10.4 inch digital photo frame, a PINK MP3 player and PINK speakers..........gosh, I love that man! I did try to get him some fun presents too, with a 3 piece craftsman tool chest for his shed, a motor for his pontoon, the new Monopoly game- which Paul ALWAYS wins!- some Samba's, (but I got the wrong size and have to exchange them) and Guitar Hero--- which we are now officially addicted to!!! What a FUN day! The boyz were spoiled with TONS of toys from us, Santa, and from family. Our food storage grew a bit more when we opened up a TON of food storage from my parents. Thanks, Mom and Dad!!! We are so blessed and are LOVING this wonderful season!

We have been playing every day.... Paul has not had to work, so we are having such a fun time together as a family. The next slide show below is us sledding. We like to take Parker out to the church parking lot and I pull Paul and Parker behind the truck on the sled. As Paul was pulling me and Parker, Parker yelled, "This is SO dangerous!!!"

We also took Parker sledding down the "big mountain" at Community Park. He loved it! I'm not sure who enjoyed it more though... Parker or Paul! My husband really needs a snowboard!

well I am glad that you had a wonderful christmas, and everyone looks happy, that is good, jesse and I just get gifts for the kids and that brings a tons of excitement for us, we just figure if there is something that we wanted we just get it latter in the year. But this year we could of just got santa and they would of been perfectly content that is for sure. Jesse took the kids sledding behind the four wheelers on a tube, they had some fun, but the tube ended up popping and the fun ended, but we just got a new one the next day, we just spent christmas here in montana with our little family and we had fun, making christmas candy and cookies and our favorite hot chocolate. so it was a good christmas. Any how, that is a good thing you got more food storage, anything helps that is for sure, my other friend got that same thing from there parents as well, so way to go your parents!!!. take care and keep having fun.
